Wow. This shawl / wrap does not look knitted. I read from the designer that this was a very time consuming project and I do believe it because of the intricate and delicate stitches used on it. But because of that, it has a very soft and feminine look. I prefer that look over the bulky ones.

I'm not really a fan of knitting wraps, but I think I'll try this one. It looks so beautiful and easy to make that I can't pass it up!

This is an interesting pattern. I can see that using size 8 needles with lace weight yarn will make this very open and lacy, as well as all the yarn overs. You could make this in a shimmery white and wear it over a black top or dress and it would look fabulous.

I plan to start this pattern after finishing my Christmas projects. It sounds easy to remember and I love the lacy result. For a while I have had a few skeins of Knit Pick's 'alpaca cloud' in forest green. It will look great.

It says the pattern is time consuming but I think once you get into the rhythm it will go along quickly. It looks so lovely and would really add something to your wardrobe. I love open work like this. You can wear it year round. Thank you for the pattern.
