    Red Lace Shawl

"A pretty feminine large rectangular shawl with scalloped edging. A 10 row lace pattern, easy to remember once you get going. Knit in Ice Yarns - Incas Alpaca (50% Alpaca, 35 Acrylic , 15% Merino Wool) on 4.5mm (UK 7, US 7) needles. Size is 28" / 71cm wide x 56" / 142cm long. It's an amazingly versatile shawl. Stun everyone by wearing it to your next party event or use it as a beautiful throw, across the bed or settee."

I don't quite have the skills for this yet, but it's so lovely. Definitely adding it to my wish list of patterns to work up to. I love the bold red paired with the soft lace.

Very nice pattern but I agree with the last comment. You can do the edging and then start the main pattern. Otherwise I think the pattern is fine. I love lacy shawls and this one will be added to my list. Thank you.

I love lace knitting patterns and this shawl or throw has a very pretty design. The only thing I would change is I would not make the edgings separately. I would either incorporate them into the knitting or not make them at all. Pinned this one on my board to make!
