He was not ashamed at all, but rather convinced me that it is ideal for my winter's feet. Armed with the easy sleep sock pattern I returned home to knit my own pair! Back in the day, Pinterest and Google were idealistic dreams and printed books and magazines were copied by hand! This is exactly how I got the pattern from my mother-in-law and her from her mother, handwritten.
