Lovely bag and a good way to practice different techniques. Bags are always needed since many stores are eliminating plastic bags. The rows are off on the pattern however since they tell you to repeat rows 11 to 17 three more times. The next row then is not 39 but I think if you just follow along and correct the rows as you go you will be fine. I can see using different colors. This bag would make a good scrap buster. Thank you.

pattern seems nice, but beware it will use lots of ink since it is a pdf doc. that can't be edited.

Please clarify on 'repeat rows 11-17 three more times'. That would put me on Row 38 but the pattern states the next row after the repeat is Row 33. Is the Row 33 a misprint or are there corrections for the 'repeat rows 11-17 three more times'? Thanks.

Hi, am interested in knitting this bag but am confused as regards - abbreviations. I presume KFB is knit into front then back of stitch. What does PM stand for. CC1 and CC2 is colour contrast - yes. Do you provide an Abbreviations list at all as on this pattern no abbreviations are listed. Your help in this matter would be great

Hi RuthSpeed, You are correct; KFB means that you should knit into the front and then the back of the stitch. PM means that you should "place a marker." I made this bag and I love it. I have to say I understand peoples frustration...I think I frogged this pattern about 2 or three times...rippit...but always found the problem was mine.

Has anyone made this bag yet ? I'm not sure if there is a mistake in the pattern or I just don't understand one I get to Fair isle pattern portion. Helppp

I can't seem to figure out something on this pattern. On row 17 and 18 it says to decrease 10 stiches (originally 175 stiches on needle) Following that on the fair isle pattern with my add on stiches I shd then have 198 stitches but I calculate 190 stitches - Is there something that I am missing ?

On that new page there is something that says "Click here to download the pattern for Boredom Buster Bag (PDF)." When you click that link it should open a PDF of the pattern that is easily printable.
