If you've never knit your own swimwear before, this is a nice pattern to start with, as it requires minimal hand sewing. We love the Sun Kissed Knit Bikini in the bright orange color as shown, but any other bright cotton yarn would make a fun summer suit.

I've always thought about knitting a suit but worry about the yarn. This calls for 100% cotton which seems like it would be very heavy when wet, or they not supposed to get wet? I've also looked at some yarn with spandex in it but worry about the stretch and if that would mess up my knitting. Does anyone have advice for swimwear knitting?
