Mermaid/crocodile Stitch

"I have seen many crochet mermaid stitches but could not find the knit one. Here is a perfect mermaid stitch that can be used not only for knit mermaid's tail, but as well for cowls. hats, sweaters and baby blankets. I have tried this stitch for knitting baby blanket and it came out warm and cute. I am also planning to try this stitch for hat. The ideal yarn for this stitch is medium worsted or bulky."
