What a cute pattern to use up scrap yarn. While this block is 6" x 6" it could easily be increased to make a pillow cover 16" x 16" (co 96 stitches) or the block could be joined log cabin style to make a cheerful afghan. It could also be knit with worsted or aran weight yarn on larger needles, just be sure to make a swatch to determine the number of stitches per inch.
