How to Knit the Cat's Eye Lace Stitch
This fun lace mesh pattern is great for beginners learning the basics of increasing and decreasing!
Knitting cat's eye lace is a great way to learn a basic stitch without much effort. You can use this stitch to make anything from shawls to scarves that you are sure to love.
This particular lace stitch is a variant on basic mesh knitting. It's slightly more advanced, but if you can do a simple yarn over, follow some repeats, and a few p2togs, you'll have this lace stitch memorized in no time.
This pattern is also great because it's only a four-row repeat. Some of our favorite lace stitches are four-row repeat, and it allows you to learn it quickly and get creative with it in your own knitting patterns and designs.
