How to Construct a Shawl

Notes:
Pm = place marker
Sm = slip marker
Yo = yarn over
M = marker

Shawl Construction Instructions

CO 3 sts.
Row 1: (k1, pm) twice, k1.
Row 2: K across.
Row 3: K1, sm, yo, k to m, yo, sm, k1.
Rpt rows 2-3 to desired length and width. Leave enough yarn to BO all sts.
Weave in ends and wet block to finish.

This video is super helpful! I'm still a beginner knitter and I haven't tackled a shawl yet because they look complicated. BUT, this video and tutorial helped break it down for me :)
