How to Knit the Pique Rib Stitch

Pique Rib Stitch Knitting Tutorial

Cast on a square multiple of 10 stitches.
Row 1: *P3, k1, p3, k3 , repeat from * to end of row
Row 2: *P3, k3, p1, k3, repeat from * to end of row.
Row 3: Repeat row 1
Row 4: Knit across
Repeat rows 1-4 until you've reached the desired size for your project.

Note: Pique Rib in the Round
To work this stitch in the round, work the p3, l1, p3, k3 three times, and then do one round of purling for your fourth row, since you are not turning your work.
