If you're a knitter or know someone who knits, it's easy to understand that knitting isn't just a hobby; it's a way of life. Once you start knitting, it becomes tightly incorporated into your everyday living, like strands of yarn in a piece of knitted fabric. Knitters don't just knit to make gifts. They knit for every aspect of their lives, whether that's using free knit patterns to create scarves for the winter or to create a new knit afghan to feature in the living room. Thankfully, the wonderful team at Lion Brand Yarns understands how passionate knitters operate. Using this basic theme, Lion Brand teamed up with us at AllFreeKnitting to create a special eBook that caters to every aspect of your life, from your closet to your living room. No matter if you're knitting for yourself, your family, your home, or for a friend, AllFreeKnitting's latest eBook has ideas to keep you inspired all season long. Inside New Favorites from Lion Brand: 15 Free Knitting Patterns for Scarves, Afghans and More free eBook, you'll discover only the best patterns that Lion Brand has to offer.
Dress up your bedroom and living room with the vibrant Mountain Mists Afghan (p. 45). Filled with shades of gold and lavender, this creative afghan makes a statement that will blend effortlessly into your existing home décor. Imagine how much more you'll enjoy reading in bed or on the couch when you have a cozy afghan to snuggle up in. If long-term projects aren't your preferred type of pattern, this collection of knits also includes simple patterns that are ideal for beginner knitters. Just check out the Two Ball Twirly Scarf (p. 5) for an addictive pattern that can easily be completed in one evening of knitting. Once you've finished your scarf, you'll enjoy having a funky accessory to mix and match into your wardrobe. After all, nothing adds a pop of color to a basic outfit more than a handmade scarf.
Free Knit Sweater Patterns: Cozy Textured Pullover
You're in your living room during the thick of winter. The hardwood floors are freezing, and you can't seem to shake the goose bumps that are crawling up and down your arms. What do you do? Simply throw on the Cozy Textured Pullover you made the week earlier! It doesn't matter whether you're an avid or a casual knitter, you can't deny how nice it feels to be surrounded by a bulky, knit sweater pattern when it's chilly outside. If you've been searching for that perfect cozy pattern, the one that's loose enough to move in, but is still flattering to wear, don't wait to download your copy of this sensational eBook. In addition to this charming pattern, you'll also find toasty warm cardigans and ponchos for your little one.
Scarf Knitting Patterns: Paintbox Scarf
Practical, fun to make, colorful, quick - what's not to love about scarf knitting patterns? If you're an admirer of scarf patterns, like me, then you'll love the scarf section in this free eBook. For the adventurous knitter, enjoy tackling the Paintbox Scarf, which boasts bold chunks of color throughout the design. Are you too busy to knit this vibrant project? Don't worry; the Two Ball Twirly Scarf can be completed in one night, while you're watching television or your favorite movie. Pair these excellent projects with the incredibly cozy Entrelac Cowl, and you've got a powerful scarf trio that'll leave your needles clicking in anticipation.
In addition to knitted afghan patterns, scarves, cardigans and sweaters, this free eBook also includes a variety of knit shawls, hats and even a tank top. The Color Waves Tank Top, shown on the cover of the eBook at the bottom, is especially intriguing. An explosion of color, lace and chevron design, this classy tank top is a versatile piece that can be worn throughout each season. Whether you pair it with a blazer and jeans, or just with a pair of shorts, you're bound to make a lasting impression wearing this carefully designed top. In addition to this breathtaking pattern, the Amazing Mitered Shawl (p. 52) is another noteworthy project. Created using a gradient of autumnal shades, you'll fall in love with this pattern for its cozy feel and enticing hues. Get these projects, and more, all for free in New Favorites from Lion Brand.
Knitted Afghan Patterns: Slip Stitch Afghan
Don't waste time buying an expensive afghan for your living room that doesn't live up to your style expectations. Instead, try knitting this incredibly cozy Slip Stitch Afghan (p. 48), that will "wow" your guests as soon as they enter your door. Made with subtle earth-toned colors, this nature-inspired afghan will leave you feeling warm just by looking at it. If you're headed to a baby shower any time soon, the Half Square Triangle Blanket (p. 42) is just what you need. Customize the color choice to match your friend's nursery or baby shower theme. After you complete your first afghan, you'll be addicted to how rewarding it feels!

Why does everything have to be PDF?? And I have no clue how to get/read/use an ebook. I click on the download - it gives me an arrow down - and I end up back on this page - with no patterns.

You need adobe reader to enable reading. Whatever you download will automatically open under that and you can save them also. www.adobe.com. Look under your download folder to see if it's there. Also, do a search on your computer for adobe. I'm just a grandma but hope this helps. Get back to me if you need anything else. Take care

The window said to click here for the free pattern for Entrelac Cowl but there was no pattern. There was four other ones plus the advertising to sign up for something. Very very disappointing as was feeling excited about the project :(

I also would like the pattern for the hoodie sweater. I am using a computer in the library so a book download does not help. Is there a way to download one particular pattern so I can print it out at the library?

I would like to get the instructions for the slip-stitch afghan, but it appears I have to download the entire book for the one afghan. Is there another way to get just the slip-stitch afghan instructions? Thanks, in advance, for your assistance.

I want to knit a baby hat. I've spent 30 min on this site and still haven't found a pattern of any kind. I've seen lots of ads and other offers which want my email address, etc. I don't want a magazine or information about home decorating or subscription to anything. All I want is a pattern for a baby hat and I want that without 30 min of unsuccessful looking. Boo on you
