Braided Loaves Scarf
Follow these scarf knitting instructions to create this delectable looking Braided Loves Scarf. Doesn't the cable design remind you of a freshly baked loaf of bread? What makes this pattern even more visually striking is the way that the cables are framed between rows of seed stitch. I don't know about you but I think this scarf makes a great autumn accessory.

re the cables 2 stitches are on a cable needle at the back, knit two then knit the two on the needle (thats 4 sts) you do the same with the cable needle on the front 2 sts, 2 con cable needle, 2 on cable needle, 2 sts -=8 sts. If you need more help just e mail me!

I am new knitting cables. Can you explain how the cable stitch adds up to 8 stitches? When it says slip 2 sts, K2, K2 on the cable, I only count 6 stitches. Can you explain how there are 8 stitches? The scarf is beautiful, I want to try to make it.

It's two 4 stitch cable patterns, so it is 8 stitches total to complete the cables.
