This hat is adorable and perfect for fall. I agree with the prior comment about using a different color yarn for the nut part. The instructions looks easy to follow. I have been knitting hats for charity and this one will be very popular. Thank you.

This is a really cute idea for a children's hat. I would be tempted to use a little more of an orange-brown color for the bottom nut part and a darker brown like chestnut or mahogany for the top cap part. I like that it is made with worsted weight yarn so no fancy yarns to buy to get the same look.
