It only one shade of gray. So you could hardly call this a 50 shades beanie.

This will definitely be my next hat project. Love the name and the use of straight needles. Teens in my family will love the slouch and the simple stitch. It will also look fabulous in other brighter colors like maybe yellow for spring and red for winter. I did read the book but no plans to see the movie.
