"Gertrude is a slouchy hat, knit in the round, with a super snug ribbing followed by an intermediate pattern of lace and cable blocks that alternate every eight rows. It’s made in Lion Brand Beautiful You, a tightly plied 100% acrylics CYCA 2 Fine yarn that gives amazing stitch definition, and comes in a love spring/summer palette. One of my costume making friends said it would also work nicely as a snood for those who do Dickens Christmas recreations!"
