Red Riding Hood Poncho
Light enough to be worn in summer, but also great for colder weather too, this Red Riding Hood Poncho is a great beginner knitting pattern. Master the art of lace knitting with this simple pattern that features yarn overs near the ponchos border, creating a delicate lace pattern. The rounded edges make this poncho especially flattering; this is a must-knit for the holidays.

The pattern is bad-cannot be interpreted in order to be useful. The author has been knitting for 3 yrs. and teaching for 2? WOW. someone thinks alot of themselves, when many knitters with many years of experience can't figure it out! This is a shawl and should be re-classified as such, and it looks like a giant dishcloth-so, I'm thinking anyone who wants to make it should try that!

This has got to be the most oddly described pattern i've ever seen. I've been knitting for 8 yrs and usually can figure out what the writer is trying to say but this one has me totally stumped. I believe there are several others who are having the same problem with the directions as I am? I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't understand what she is trying to say?
