Colosseum Scarf
Quick and easy to make, the Colosseum Scarf will be the perfect go-to accessory for just about everyone in your family! Once you get the yarn for the project on your knitting needles, it won't take you long to create this beautiful little number.
From the blogger: "I call this the Colosseum Scarf because it reminds me of the actual Colosseum. This scarf is knit lengthwise in a four-row pattern. I recommend a circular needle just to fit all the stitches on it. I created this sideways scarf so the Mandala yarn would create vertical stripes. You use any yarn that changes color slowly for this effect. Or simply use the worsted yarn of your choice. This makes a light and stretchy scarf great for men and women and children (if you make it shorter)."

None of the referenced info on this scarf is correct, the yarn is a dk weight not worsted weight and the needle size is a 7/4.5mm not 10.5/6.5mm, however I have recently acquired a lot of Bernat pop yarn, I think I may give that a go with a 10/6mm needle and see how that turns out.
