The House Elf's Scarf
"This scarf features closely-set Elfin Lace eyelet clusters that are edged with 2 garter stitches along each long side and a feather-like end border. It is knit in two halves and seamed in the middle with the kitchener stitch, and must be blocked. It is suited to any yarn from lace to sport weight, and there is no gauge listed for that reason. Use a larger needle than is recommended on the yarn label. The sample shown was knit in Patons Sequin Lace on US size 6 needles. The design is charted only."

It is easiest to knit both halves at once with two balls of yarn or both ends of a ball of yarn. 3. Follow the stitch chart until desired length is reached, or until you run out of yarn. 4. Seam the two halves with the kitchener stitch. 5. Tuck in any yarn ends and block.
