Is the border stitch pattern added after the shawl is made? or is the border and shawl knitted at the same time?

Yes, that's all right. But I'm racking my brains over this. I'm not a beginner knitter, but I'm pulling my hair out over this one! I would really like to make it! boo hoo. / I can't be the only one struggling with making this. I can't even get it started. I don't know what to do. /

page two of this pattern only show's a graph and the picture of the finished product..no pattern.. I had the same problem with her sock pattern... please help. I would love to have this pattern
