I have printed this pattern, but I am having problems with pattern continuity. i am still on 3rd row & i can't get the stitches to work right. is there anyone else having problems with this pattern. i love the bag & i would love to finish it.

I haven't been able to find a way to knit a bag without it stretching to 4 times it's size. Any suggestions?

Wow. All of a sudden the $120 bag I saw in the mall the other day isn't on my "to drool" list anymore... this one is. The minute I finish this post, I'm starting it. I love it!! It would make a sensationally gift for my daughter who is teaching in China for a year. I know she would appreciate a beautiful hand knit bag. Thanks so much.
