The skill level for this pretty Spring-look knit tote bag is rated at easy. The Origami yarn used gives this bag a very textured and variegated look that would match most of your new fashions for this year. Along with the yarn you will need knitting needles, a crochet hook, dowel rods, and a piece of cardboard.

This pattern is easy, I am a bit confused with the instructions putting it together but I will face that when I get to it. The bag does not even look knitted. It has a classy look to it. It should work up fast as well. Thank you.

The yarn listed is no longer available - not letting that stop me --all it should take is another yarn with the same gauge - and it wont be the first time I have switched out the yarn for a project -- as when I have found yarn on sale that was too good a price or too appealing to resist but had no plan in mind for it then had to find a pattern for it shall check my stash for yarn in two blending colours of the right gauge and knit this tote -- sophisticated knitting indeed

Why would you offer this pattern with yarn that is no longer available? How about some alternative yarns. Love this project but can't get the yarn!

Hey there, Smace! AllFreeKnitting has been up for quite a while now, and this post was likely made before the yarn was discontinued. Through my research, I have found a few yarns are similar - take a look at Berroco Captiva yarn, Debbie Bliss Milano yarn, and Linie 361 Morel yarn. Have an amazing day, and happy knitting!
