My daughter's boyfriend always has a hat on. This pattern will be perfect for him. I could make up several in different colors. I hope that he will value the fact that they are homemade. Of course if I make them in her favorite colors she will be borrowing them lol

The pattern is a PDF file, which means you will need Adobe Reader to open it. You might already have it. Scroll down to where it says "DOWNLOAD NOW" and click on that. If you have the reader, it should open it. If you don't, you will need to get a copy. It's free. Just go to any search engine and look it up. I hope that helps.

This looks like the pattern I've been looking for. My son saw a hat that says it is English rib. The crown ends up in 4 sections, so it looks like 4 seams at the top. Will this pattern do that?

I was working on this hat and the pattern disappeared. Is this a problem with the site or "she makes hats"? This is not good. I won't be using this site or reading this blog. Thumbs down.

Simple hat with very easy pattern. I made this for my grandfather with Bernat chunky yarn in military green color. The adult size fits beautifully. It is very stretchy! Just one note for pattern, I needed to add 2 more rows of (K2tog around) for the crown, to complete this hat. But, it's a great basic hat pattern. Thanks!
