Stripe Seven Knit Blanket
The Stripe Seven Knit Blanket Pattern makes the perfect knit baby blanket pattern for boys and girls because it is soft and very tasteful. The stripe pattern design on simple blanket knitting patterns like this looks very art deco, so its great for parents who want the gender of their baby to be a surprise! This blanket is also a great baby shower gift if the gender of the child is not revealed (or even if the gender is known). The knit blanket works well with both genders, and it is completely unique. Plus, there is no worry about whether or not someone else bought the same gift since this gift was made and created without the help of a credit card. Furthermore, nothing beats the thought, time and effort that goes into a homemade gift. This blanket will be a great keepsake for the child as they grow older, so this easy baby knit blanket will be a gift that lasts a lifetime.

I have not made this exact pattern before, but I have made one very similar and it is another of my favorite patterns. I really like that you start in the middle and work your way out because you can control how big it is. I've not made one with the eyelets so I'm anxious to give this a try.

This is a very clever and pretty blanket knit from the center out. For those who have not mastered the magic loop method, the blanket can be started on double pointed needles and then transferred to circular needles as the size increases. I like the designers idea to make this baby blanket in a rainbow of colors too.
